KEDARNATH DHAM

Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, perched at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 ft) in the Garhwal Himalayas near the Mandakini River in Uttarakhand, India.

Towering majestically behind the temple is the snow-crested Kedar Dome (6,831 m) and Kedarnath Peak. Built of massive interlocking grey granite stone slabs, the temple has stood resilient against the elements for over a millennium.
